What does my membership include?
TEE BOOKINGS
The use of the BRS & HowDidIDo; when you join the club you will be issued with a username and password which will allow you to register for our booking system. This system allows you to view the tee sheets and make your own bookings at any time of the day weeks in advance. As well as tee time booking HowDidIDo you can view your scoring data, live leaderboards in competitions. Both apps makes it easy for you to plan your next round of golf with your friends and it can all be controlled from your mobile phone using the ‘BRS Golf App’ downloaded from the App store or PlayStore
GET YOUR OWN HANDICAP
We require x 3 18 hole or 6 x 9 hole rounds submitted in order to be obtain a handicap. Rounds can be scored and signed by a player with a current handicap. Please hand cards into the Pro Shop for processing.
HANDICAP & COMPETITION GOLF
Once you have joined the club you will then be able to gain a handicap if you do no already have one and then you can play in club competitions and matches. We are an active club and we hold many handicap qualifying competitions as well as fun team events.
COMPETITIONS
We have a very active Competition scedule and there is plenty of opportunities to play in competitions and team matches. For the more serious golfers we play in both Bradford and Leeds Union competitions in the various sections. If you are looking for a good social day out but still like competitive golf then most of our different sections have friendly team matches will be perfect, we play many friendly matches both home and away which include a meal usually after your round. This is a great way of meeting new friends and golfing partners.
LADIES SECTION
Ladies competitions are played throughout the week. They hold a variety of different competitions and events. Some of our ladies also play during the week so you will never fail to get a game. Even if the weather is bad the ladies meet at the club for a social coffee. Our ladies section also has a variety of teams which will suit golfers of all abilities.
SENIOR SECTION
Our seniors section are very active and they play every Tuesday and Thursday. They play a variety of competitions which include both handicap qualifiers and fun events. The seniors also play friendly match both home and away which are great social events. You will always get a game on a Tuesday or Thursday with our very friendly seniors section.
JUNIOR SECTION (UNDER 18'S)
We hold various junior events throughout the year including adult and junior competitions. Weekly Saturday Academy lessons also take place and this is a great way for juniors to learn the game.
LESSONS WITH OUR PROFESSIONAL
Our PGA professionals Jeff Whittam is here to help improve your game. Jeff is available to give lessons and most dates and times are available. Jeff runs a junior academy along with assistant coach Dan Atkins and lessons take place on Saturday afternoons at 1:30pm till 2:30pm.
