Jeff is a highly motivated and competitive PGA Professional who has been involved in golf for over 25 years and is always looking to grow the great game of golf and make it accessible and attractive to all. Jeff has a passion for coaching golfers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. He is able to ensure that junior golfers learn in a safe but fun environment. As well as being a popular instructor, lessons are well organized, and his enthusiastic manner is much appreciated by parents and pupils alike. Jeff's one-to-one coaching sessions cover all aspects of the game. He is able to get to the route cause of any issues quickly. So, by booking a lesson Jeff will be able to assess and evaluate your current game and build a programme of improvement to achieve all your golfing goals.
Dan Atkins

Dan Atkins

Assistant Golf Coach
Dan is a Level 1 Golf Coach; TPI Certified Professional & TPI Junior Level 2. He has been a member of Calverley Golf Club since 2015 and enjoys working with all standards of golfers and specialises in junior development. He prides himself on his ability to help players, of all levels understand the movements of their own individual swings, whether good or bad. Back in 2017 he coached and mentored the Junior Development Team to win the Bradford Union Development League He has a very friendly personality, is very easy to talk to and always eager to help anyone with their game of golf.

Junior Academy

Friendly Coaching

Jeff Whittam PGA along with Assistant Dan Atkins heads up the Calverley Academy. The Academy is on Saturdays from 3pm for 1 hour £5 per child

Analysis

Our Junior Programme includes coaching and fun games based lessons for children aged 6 -17 Through a structured learning programme children learn key aspects of golf getting them ready to be out on the golf course.

Represent Club

Older juniors who play in weekly competitions have the chance to represent the club in union competitions.
